Jo Pavey announced as Peterborough Marathon ambassador

Sublime Racing are thrilled to announce that inspirational runner, Jo Pavey will be the Peterborough Marathon race ambassador.

A five-time Olympian, having represented Great Britain in every Olympic Games from 2000 to 2016. 45-year-old mum of two, Jo, is the only British runner and track event athlete to have competed in five games and she’s hoping to qualify to make that six Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020!

Jo Pavey commented, “I'm really thrilled to be supporting the exciting new Peterborough Marathon in 2019. It’s an absolutely fantastic course that is 95% traffic free, scenic and flat. With such a good course the runners will have a great opportunity to run a personal best time.

“It’s fantastic for Peterborough to have a full marathon, and brilliant that runners will be able to experience running the event in this great city. I’m sure this marathon is going to become extremely popular and I’m very excited to be involved.”
