Runners feedback by email and social media has been marvellous
Feedback on the day and so far via email and social media has been marvellous.
One runner emailed: “Thank you very much for organising today’s race. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Every single volunteer was so friendly and encouraging, right from when we entered the car park to the finish line.
“The goodie bag at the end was really thoughtfully put together because as different waves of appetite came over me there was something to nibble on!
“Thank you for you and your team’s hard work.” Josie.
The overall winner of the race was Martin Amos of Hunts AC in a blistering time of 33:38.4, with first female across the line, Lucy Mapp, also of Hunts AC, in 38:25.4.

A Sublime Racing spokesperson said: “We had fantastic weather for everyone, it stayed fine and not as warm as last year’s race. It was lovely to see all our runners and we’d like to thank them for taking part.
“But, we’d also like to thank our amazing Race Makers. Without their continued assistance behind the scenes in the organisation and on race day, our events just would not happen!”
The Peterborough Midsummer 10k was sponsored by local independent running specialists, Advance Performance, who have stores in Peterborough & Cambridge.
In addition to prize money and trophies, spot prizes were awarded to both runners and Race Makers, provided by Advance Performance and their brand partners Brooks, Shokz and Pulseroll.
