Sublime Racing are excited to welcome ultra-runner and world record holder Patrycja Bereznowska to their TWENTY4 event
Polish athlete Patrycja held the 24 Hour World Record until December 2018. She is a Spartathlon Champion holding the course record, the 24 Hour National Champion 2017 and holds the 48 Hour World Record.
More recently in July this year she competed in her first ever Badwater 135 in the US (pictured) which is billed as the World’s Toughest Footrace. Patrycja finished as the first female and was second overall, finishing in 24:13:24 and smashing the women’s course record by almost an hour and 40 minutes!
Martin Jennings of Sublime Racing commented, “We’re delighted Patrycja is competing in our fantastic new event and look forward to welcoming her, along with her compatriots this weekend.”
Patrycja Berezenowska is planning to run the Sublime TWENTY4 24 Hour Race as a pair with Tadeusz Sekretarczyk who is one of the best Polish 24 hour runners in the UK. She will also be accompanied by friends and Polish National Champions who will be taking part as a 24 Hour Relay Team.
